Kung Hei Fat Choi!

Happy year of the Dog! Here are a couple of pictures from over the holidays here in Hong Kong. You should be able to see her single tooth in them.

You can see how she is doing the "Ching Ching" with her hands. This goes together with her waving and clapping that she has been learing in the last week or so.


We've been pretty lazy the last couple of days, just visiting with family and friends, which is what you do over Chinese New Year.

You will also see that her hair has been cut. It was getting into her eyes and we took it straight across. Unbelievably, this seems to have made her face more round and cheeks even chubbier!

Hi. Here are a few more pictures from our holiday in the Philippines. It was even nicer than the pictures here show.



Fortunately baby didn't try to eat the sand. There was always a nice onshore breeze that made things very comfortable. Baby ate more and slept better when we were on holiday. Look at that little belly!
Here are a couple of lazy guys hanging out under a sala by the pool. All that eating and sleeping really takes it out of you. The guy in the back is Navin, a good friend who also came on this holiday together with us and Keith and Lorraine (all work chums).

Surf's Up!

We just got back from a fantastic vacation at Amanpulo, a small island about an hour's flight out of Manilla in a small 19 seater plan (where every seat is a window seat and and aisle seat). Maddy went swimming every day and played on the beach. Here are some photos.

It was a blast and we all enjoyed ourselves. Baby ate more, slept better and was well behaved on this trip. Now that we're back she will need to re-adjust to life in our apartment here in Hong Kong. More photos to come.
