Swingin' on a Star

First time on a swing and she got the hang of it.
No worries about her letting go.

It took the two of us to pry her little hands off of the chains when it was time to go.

The circus is in town again.

We are working on our moves for life under the big top, this time in the pool downstairs.
Baby really loves the water.


I wonder what we'll try next week...

Shhhhh...

Be very quiet. While walking around our apartment this morning I managed to take a picture of this baby monkey in its natural habitat and eating one of its favourite foods. Right after I got this shot it disappeared behind the sofa.

Funny faces before bedtime.

Things get pretty crazy around bedtime.
The baby brings out all of her funny faces as she goes mental with tiredness.



Looks like fun but after all of this she will "no gai" until we can get her to sleep.

Steady....Steady...

If our present careers don't work out we can always join the circus.

We started learning this trick in the pool and Maddy can go a pretty long time now. In fact, it's my arm that gives out before she does. I have a feeling that this act won't go on for too long at the rate she puts away the groceries.

At the Office

Here we are in Uncle Navin's office. His secretary had these shiney beads for Yu Yu to play with.

Everybody was a Kung Fu Fighting (Ha)

Those cats were as fast as lightning (hoo ha). This is a little kung fu outfit that Yu Yu's been wearing at night since she's got the sniffles right now.


This is a new bean-bag chair that we picked up for the baby to relax and have her milk in. When she's tired she'll sit in it for quite a while. Maybe it's because it's quite difficult for her to get out of it because of the pit in the middle of it.

We are going out to get some groceries from the supermarket down the street here.

Singin' in the Rain.

We borrowed this umbrella from a little girl in the park. Actually, Yu Yu snatched it from the hands of a 2 year old and left her crying.

Madison can be a bit of a bully sometimes but we try to teach her to share and be nice and gentle.


She may turn out to be a bit of a tomboy.
Doesn't matter, as long as she's healthy and happy.

Another crappy day

So I'm recycling some older pictures and baby is on my lap helping me type this entry. These are from happier times in the park.
Yu Yu's been learning to tumble at a playgroup and is showing us her form here.

Some assorted pictures from over the past couple of week-ends. Unfortunately I'm in the office working on a transaction this Saturday and Sunday so will not have time to take the baby out myself.

Pretty serious on the duck here. I think she was paying attention to her balance so that she wouldn't fall off.



This is fun for about 10 seconds, until she gets dizzy.

In da Club

Sunday at the club. Surprisingly, it wasn't too busy today.


The pool was renovated and looks good. The shallow babies pool was warm enough and it was very sunny out today.

Before our dip we had a bite to eat and then went to the playroom to spin around on these circles.
After Yu Yu got dizzy and fell off it was off to the pool.

Big Sully

This is Sully from Monsters Inc. We borrowed him from a little girl at the park. This thing is bigger than the baby. Good thing he was strapped in tight because Yu Yu was trying to pull him out and have her way with him.

Another playdate with Nigel. He seems to like waiving his bum in Yu Yu's face and she looks like she's enjoying the view from her little chair.

We'll have to teach Yu Yu a couple of things about sitting like a lady, NOT like she's doing here.

Mini-godzilla?

Macau Fan

This past week-end we went to Macau to check out how the new casinos are doing and donate our money to the gambling gods. This first shot is on the TurboJet on the way.

Navin hooked us up with a giant room at the Sands with 2 bedrooms and each has a jacuzzi, and separate his and her toilets and sinks
This is just the living room part. Oh, did I mention the private karaoke room? Yes, off to the side is a hallway that leads to a private soundproof karaoke room.

Yu Yu is waiting for her song to come on here.
