Village People

Here we are at the Man village (Chau Tau Tseun) up near the border to China. We took a spin up to the village over the weekend to check in on the new house (it was built earlier this year) and to drop off some baby stuff that Yu Yu has grown out of or can't use any more. One day we will have to do a bbq up there.

My mom keeps saying that we should all move up there to save money for the baby to go to school and stuff. Maybe we'll think about it, if I can convince the ladies...

The gold fish pond has been filled in to park transport trucks. Shenzhen sprawls further and higher every day, that is when you can see it through the haze.

Always nice to see that LA is the model of urban planning in China. So I guess its only time before the graves get paved as well? Guess its not the sweet smell of country breeze down in the chau tau village anymore. Perhaps its better for maddies lung that she spends her time in tai tam by the ocean.
